DESCRIPTION: A typical rust species with bright orange pustules occurring all over the leaf surfaces (primarily the undersides) as well as the stems. Can be quite widespread over the infected plant. SPORES: Urediniospores have walls of uneven thickness, are echinulate and come in various forms such as ellipsoidal and pyriform. HABITAT: On leaves and stems of various Euphorbias. SEASON: An early fruiting species seen from February through to summer.
